Parking Issues Still to Be Worked Out At the City Council meeting on September 7, a public hearing was held on the 50% progress plans for the River St. section of the Mousam Promenade, a planned 10-foot wide bike/pedestrian path around Number One Pond. Sanford’s stock of residential apartments will be increasing in the next year with two new projects which were given approval by the Planning Board on August 18. The Site Plan Review Committee and Planning Board this week both recommended approval of a proposal to rezone three properties in Springvale from Single Family Residential to Urban.
