The City Council's Municipal Operations and Property Subcommittee met with City staff on June 14. This is a summary of items presented and discussed. Midtown Mall: The proposal for the Midtown Mall Development District and Maintenance Assessment was discussed. Sanford Rec Summer Camp Registration Open Now

Sanford Parks and Recreation staff are once again offering three different camp experiences for the kids this summer, and this year they will be better than ever. Camps begin Monday, June 20 and run through Friday, August 5, with no camp on Monday, July 4. All campers must be potty trained. Scholarships are available for all programs. Winterfest Fishing Derby Winners

It was a great day for ice fishing when Winterfest 2022 came to Number One Pond February 19. The day started out at a chilly 10 degrees but warmed up to 30 later in the afternoon. A total of 134 kids participated and caught a huge number of fish. The champion ice fisherman of the day was Kylar Fulton, who took home both the biggest yellow perch at 10 1/2 inches, and the biggest trout, at 15 inches. Ryan Lovejoy's…
