Building Trades students at Sanford Regional Technical Center are working on framing projects with different roof styles. Roof styles consist of gable, hip, and valley roof framing. The project structures are 4'X8' with a 3'X2' bump out. They are the perfect size for a  great chicken coop, dog house or play house and are for sale for $100. Sherburne St. in Sanford will soon be renamed Tanguay St., in honor of Leon Tanguay, a lifelong resident of Sanford who has lived on the street since 1947 and raised his family there. Mr. Tanguay is a World War II veteran who retired from a career as a stonemason at age 85. He will be 98 years old next month.
