ATVs on the Rail Trail Debated

Members of the City Council’s Municipal Operations and Property Subcommittee waded into the longstanding conflict between the Trails Committee and the Sanford ATV Club at their April 13 meeting, when they heard arguments from both sides about use of the Rail Trail. Explore the Sanford Community Forest

Three Rivers Land Trust is hosting walks of the proposed Sanford Community Forest, with the first one scheduled for Sunday, February 14 (weather permitting). The other dates are March 14 and April 11. The trail is a little less than two miles and is expected to take no more than 2 hours to complete.
