There have now been a total of 1,619 cases of the virus in Sanford, and another 379 in Springvale, for a total of 1,998. Sanford Vaccine Clinic Reopens

York County Emergency Management Agency reopened the COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the former Marshall's store at the Center for Shopping in South Sanford on Tuesday, September 7. The clinic, located at 1364 Main St., will operate Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., and beginning September 18, the clinic will add weekend hours on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.   The former retail store was converted into a high-volume vaccination center last spring in partnership with the…

At its meeting on August 3, the Sanford City Council reviewed and discussed amendments to its Rules and Order of Business. There were 32 new cases of Covid-19 in Sanford and Springvale in the seven-day period ending May 9. The cumulative total of cases of the virus in our community now stands at 1,684.
