Covid-19 Outbreaks Close to Home

As has been extensively reported in national and statewide media, the Sanford area is dealing with multiple cases of Covid-19 in two outbreaks. Sanford Area Granted Additional $726K From Keep ME Healthy

At its August 4 meeting, the City Council voted to accept funding in the amount of $726,676 awarded under Round 2 of the Keep Maine Healthy 2020 Municipal Covid-19 Awareness Campaign. The funds are being granted by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services with money from the federal CARES Act. Swab and Send Site at Nasson Health Care

The Maine Department of Health and Human Services announced today that York County Community Action / Nasson Healthcare in Springvale is among four additional "swab and send" sites offering Covid-19 testing. Tests are currently available to Nasson patients, but will soon be available to the community at large.
