Council Revises Rules for Multi-Media Access

At its meeting on January 19, the City Council unanimously adopted revisions to the Rules of Procedure which govern how meetings are conducted. Proposed Zoning Change Clarifies Mental Health Services

A proposed change to Sanford's zoning ordinance adds a new Land Use category for Mental Health Practitioners. A Mental Health Practitioner is defined as one which provides diagnosis and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders and/or the diagnosis and treatment of individual or group social dysfunction brought about by such causes as mental illness, alcohol and substance abuse, physical and emotional trauma, or stress.
