Two Vacant Homes Declared Dangerous Buildings

At its meeting on April 5, 2022, the Sanford City Council voted to adjudge the homes at 12 Fieldstone Ln. and 26 Roberts St. to be dangerous buildings under state law, and ordered the nuisances created by them to be abated. Upper Nasson Apartments Moving Forward

At its meeting on April 5, 2022, the City Council held a public hearing to receive comments on the creation of a Municipal Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District, for the Upper Nasson Apartments project. Vacancy on City Council to be Filled by Special Election

At its meeting on April 5, 2022, the City Council voted unanimously to hold a Special Municipal Election to fill the vacancy left by the passing of Councilor John Tuttle. The Special Election will be held on June 14, at the same time as the School Budget Referendum and the Democratic and Republican primaries.
