On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 8:20 am, a call came in to the Sanford Regional Communications Center from someone claiming to be a teacher, reporting an active shooting at Sanford High School with five injured students. City Council 11/1 Meeting Summary

The Sanford City Council met November 1, 2022. All members were present. Councilor Jonathan Martell motioned to amend the minutes of the October 18 regular meeting to reflect that the meeting was abruptly adjourned by Mayor Mastraccio without opportunity for other members of the Council to object. 3 More Properties Adjudged Dangerous Buildings

At its meeting on November 1, 2022, the Sanford City Council held hearings and adjudged three buildings in town to be Dangerous Buildings under state statute. The term Dangerous Buildings also includes properties that are found to be a public nuisance.
