Carte Blanche Boutique, formerly located at the Mid Town Mall, reopened on April 1 in their new location at the Center For Shopping, 1364 Main St. in south Sanford. The beautifully renovated space features twice as much square footage as the previous store, with a bright and airy ambiance and plenty of room for displays of merchandise.
In addition to clothing for girls and women (ages 0 to “grown up”), Carte Blanche has expanded their selections of shoes, jewelry and purses. Many of their accessory items are made by New England crafters. All items in their home goods section are made in the USA, either locally, or by women-owned businesses across the country.
Owner Catalina Lanigan Azcarate plans to add dresses for prom and other special occasions, and offer tuxedo rentals as well. With no other place between Portsmouth and Portland to rent a tux, this will offer a needed service to guys from all over York County.
The new Carte Blanche Boutique is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The sign’s not up yet, but you can find them next to Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry, close to Shaw’s. Stop by and check it out!
