997 Main St., which was most recently home to medical offices, is being renovated to become the new headquarters of real estate company Pine Tree Properties, and its affiliates Crosby Construction and New England Dumpster Rentals. Co-owner Jake Crosby got the go-ahead from the Design Review Committee last month for the exterior work, which will include new siding, windows, lighting, signage and landscaping.

After several months of construction delays, the dome is up at Crystal Athletic Training Facility. This new complex on Alfred Rd. will be the home of the Coastal Riptide Baseball Club and will be available for rental to other sports organizations as well.
The Sanford Springvale Chamber Ambassador Committee has been busy the past month welcoming new members! The most recent was Allied Career Training Institute, located in the lower Midtown Mall. This school offers certificate programs for Medical Assisting and Massage Therapy with a hybrid curriculum that combines instructor-led online and in-person classes. Students who complete the Medical Assisting program are eligible to sit for the national exam and obtain their Registered MA designation.
