The Sanford Arts Commission is sponsoring “Art Day in the Park” on Sunday, July 28 in scenic Gateway Park at the corner of Washington Street and Riverside Avenue. Artists and the community are invited to this free event, which will be held from noon to 7 pm.

Makers, artists, performers… you are encouraged to join us! No fees. No registration. Bring family and friends and everything that you need to set up such as a table, a canopy or an event tent if you have one. Ample parking and electrical outlets are available for musicians to plug in. A restroom is on site.

Do you face-paint, dance, do performance painting, gymnastics, tightrope walk, sing, do martial arts, or yarn-bomb? Do you do sidewalk chalk drawing, blow bubbles, hula hoop or do magic? Be a part of this community arts party!

Thank you to all art walk artisans who participated in our most recent art walk.
