On Sunday, September 19, there were no arrests or summonses. Among the calls that day were a disturbance on Main St., vandalism reports on Summer St. in Springvale as well as on River St., and a drug incident on Main St.
Monday, September 20, there were no arrests or summonses. Sanford officers were kept busy with a number of calls, including terrorizing/threatening on Amherst St., an assault on State St., and an intoxicated/incapacitated person on Pioneer Ave. Peace was restored following a disturbance on River St.
On Tuesday, September 21, a summons was issued following a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Main and Clinton Sts.
Wednesday, September 22, a 58-year-old Sanford resident was taken into custody on charges of assault and aggravated assault, following a disturbance on Dale St. Another disturbance on Amherst St. resulted in a 49-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed on charges of theft, disorderly conduct and loud noise in a private place. A report of an assault on Wilson St. led to a 16-year-old juvenile being charged with aggravated assault, aggravated criminal trespass, aggravated criminal mischief, and domestic violence assault. Sanford Police also assisted another agency to a call on Main St., where an arrest was made, no details given. A summons was issued following a motor vehicle stop at Main St. and Breary Ave.
On Thursday, September 23, additional charges were filed in the Amherst St. case from the previous day, including criminal mischief and misuse of the E911 system.
There were no arrests or summonses on Friday, September 24. Among the calls our officers responded to were a report of larceny/forgery/fraud on Main St., an animal complaint on Twombley Rd., and harassment on Gate House Rd.
Saturday, September 25, a 43-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for leaving the scene, following a motor vehicle accident on Circle Dr. A summons was also served on Manor Circle.
