In the early hours of Sunday, June 20, Sanford Police, responding to a report of an intoxicated/incapacitated person on Main St. in Springvale, issued a summons to a 33-year-old Kennebunkport resident on a charge of violating condition of release. Later that afternoon, a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Country Club Rd. and Country Club Rd. 2 led to a 20-year-old Dover, NH, resident being summonsed for operating a vehicle without a license.
On Monday, June 21, a summons was issued to a 21-year-old Springvale resident for failing to register a vehicle more than 150 days, following a motor vehicle stop on School St.
On Tuesday, June 22, a Sanford officer serving a warrant to a River St. address took a 35-year-old Springvale resident into custody. Following a motor vehicle stop on Main St., a 45-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for operating after suspension. Four additional summonses were issued that day after motor vehicle stops. That evening, a complaint to a Main St. address resulted in the arrest of a 36-year-old Sanford resident on several charges, including aggravated forgery, aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, sale and/or use of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant.
Wednesday, June 23, a Main St. disturbance led to the arrest of a 21-year-old resident of Rochester, NH, for operating under the influence.
A 34-year-old Springvale resident was taken into custody Thursday, June, 24, on charges of theft by receiving stolen property and theft by unauthorized use of property, following a report of a stolen vehicle on Main St. in Springvale. Nine motor vehicle stops that day resulted in summonses, including one to a 59-year-old Shapleigh resident for failure to register vehicle more than 150 days. That evening, a domestic disturbance on Middle St. resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old Sanford resident for domestic violence assault. Later that night, the police log records an arrest made following a motor vehicle accident at Twombley and Mount Hope Rds., no details given.
On Friday, June 25, a 57-year-old Sanford resident was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant, following a call to Grove St. in Springvale. Another arrest was made that day while Sanford police assisted another agency to a Main St. address. That afternoon a domestic disturbance on Weymouth St. led to the arrest of a 27-year-old Sanford resident on a charge of violating condition of release, as well as an outstanding warrant. The traffic detail was extremely busy that day, with fourteen motor vehicle stops resulting in summonses. One of these was to a 40-year-old Sanford resident for operating after suspension. A midday motor vehicle accident on Main St. led to a 24-year-old Springvale resident being summonsed for leaving the scene of an accident.
Five more motor vehicle stops on Saturday, June 26, resulted in citations issued.
