On Thursday, June 10, following a motor vehicle stop at School and Jackson Sts., a 47-year-old South Berwick resident was summonsed for a suspended registration. Two other summonses were issued that day for motor vehicle stops on Main St. and Hutchinson St.
Friday, June 11, was a very busy day for the Sanford Police Department. A motor vehicle accident on Kimball St. resulted in a summons to a 29-year-old Sanford resident on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident. In a stolen vehicle case on Riverside Ave., a 26-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, violating conditions of release, and theft by unauthorized use of property. A shoplifting call that afternoon on Main St. led to a 43-year-old city resident being summonsed for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and violating conditions of release. That evening, a disturbance on Winter St. resulted in a 15-year-old juvenile being summonsed for reckless conduct.
On Saturday, June 12, there were no arrests or summonses, but it was another busy day for Sanford officers as they dealt with disturbances on School St., Amelia St., Wings Way and Rankin St., plus three motor vehicle accidents and other calls.
