On Sunday, July 4, Sanford Police were called to Brook St. on a report of a domestic disturbance. A 36-year-old Biddeford resident was summonsed for criminal trespass.
Monday, July 5, a summons was issued to a 27-year-old Sanford resident for driving to endanger and attaching false plates, following a complaint on Hutchinson St. That evening, following a call to Mousam St. in Springvale, a 24-year-old Wells resident was taken into custody on charges of violating a protection from abuse order, and violating condition of release.
On Tuesday, July 6, there were no arrests or summonses, but the Department was busy as usual. There were six larceny/forgery/fraud calls throughout the city that day, as well as two burglaries of motor vehicles on Main St., and a report of breaking and entering on New Dam Rd.
There were several summonses issued following motor vehicle stops on Wednesday, July 7. Another summons was given in response to an animal complaint on School St. A Main St. disturbance resulted in a 17-year-old juvenile being arrested for operating under the influence.
On Thursday, July 8, a 23-year-old Springvale resident was arrested for operating under the influence following a 4:00 a.m. accident on Hanson Ridge Rd. That evening, an accident at the corner of Pleasant St. and Railroad Ave. in Springvale resulted in a 48-year-old Sanford resident being taken into custody for operating under the influence and violating condition of release. An arrest was also made while officers were serving a warrant on Main St., no details given. There were several summonses issued following motor vehicle stops, mostly on Lebanon St.
Friday, July 9, two motor vehicle stops resulted in summonses issued. Several other motorists received warnings. Sanford officers also responded to three disturbances, a report of terrorizing/threatening, and other calls.
A report of an emotionally disturbed person on Lebanon Ct. on Saturday, July 10, led to the arrest of a 44-year-old Sanford resident on a charge of domestic violence criminal threatening.
