On Sunday, October 10, Sanford Police made no arrests and issued no summonses. There were multiple reports of vandalism that day, on Ridgeway Ave., Elm St., Charles St. and Mitchell St. Domestic disturbances on Paul St., School St., and Grove St. in Springvale also kept the Department busy.
Monday, October 11, a summons was issued following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Officers also dealt with two calls for violation of protective orders, and a domestic disturbance on Nottingham Dr., among other calls.
Tuesday, October 12, a complaint on Spartan Dr. resulted in a 13-year-old juvenile being summonsed for disorderly conduct with offensive words/gestures. An arrest was made while a warrant was being served at a Main St. address, no details given.
On Wednesday, October 13, a call to Alumni Blvd. led to a 22-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed for terrorizing. A summons was also issued following a motor vehicle stop at Emery and High Sts.
Thursday, October 14, an arrest was made following a shoplifting call to Main St., no details given. Four separate motor vehicle accidents, three animal complaints and multiple disturbances were among the calls keeping officers busy that day.
Friday, October 15, officers responding to a disturbance on Lebanon St. took a 42-year-old Parsonsfield resident into custody for assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention with physical force.
On Saturday, October 16, two juveniles, age 16 and 17, were summonsed following a shoplifting call on Main St. They were each charged with theft and illegal possession of liquor by a minor. Sanford Police responded to seven disturbance calls that day, five of which were classified as domestic disturbances.
