The Sanford vaccination clinic, located in the former Marshall’s store at 1364 Main Street, will offer walk-in vaccine appointments Thursday, April 29 from 5:00-8:00pm; Friday, April 30 from 8am to noon; and Saturday, May 1 from 8am to 4:00pm for Maine residents 18 and older to receive the first dose of the Moderna Vaccine.
Prescheduled clinic appointments are also available for these times by visiting www.vaccine.mainehealth.org. MaineHealth’s online system allows Mainers the option of scheduling an appointment immediately once they take the initial step of registering in the system. Mainers can also call 1-877-780-7545 to register and will subsequently be notified when an appointment is available.
Information about statewide vaccination efforts and vaccine availability can be found on the State of Maine Vaccine Information Site.
As vaccination continues, Maine people should continue wearing masks, washing hands frequently, keeping a safe distance from others, and avoiding crowds.
The Sanford high-volume vaccination clinic is operated through a partnership between MaineHealth, York County Emergency Management Agency and the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Maine CDC).
