“Celtic Voyage,” a web series being produced by Starry Universe Productions, will hold auditions for actors at the lower gazebo in Gowen Park on Tuesday, April 6 from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. The paranormal horror series is rated TV-14 for mild language, action sequences, and non-profane adult situations containing no explicit content or vulgarity, with a target audience of ages 14-24. Teenagers who are auditioning are welcome to be accompanied by their parents for supervision. The producer, Eli Taylor, asks that you bring a monologue from your favorite movie prepared so he can get an idea of the full range of your acting ability. The Goodall Library has a new monthly program for families: Take-Home STEM Activity Kits! These kits are generously provided by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and will be a fun, FREE way to promote learning and creativity at home. This month’s kit, recommended for ages 5-12, features Bristlebots, adorable little moving robots you get to build! All supplies are included. Plus, there will be a Zoom event on Thursday April 8th at 6:00 p.m. where a Shipyard expert will walk you through how to make the bot. The kits are first come, first served. Another Chance Animal Rescue is looking for donations of good, clean, saleable spring and summer merchandise. All proceeds help to care for cats at their Sanford adoption center. Donations can be brought to the thrift shop at 37 Market St. in North Berwick during open hours, or dropped off at the shelter at 251 Country Club Rd. See the Facebook post to find out more.
