There was a great turnout at Winterfest on Saturday, February 13, for the Ice Fishing Derby on Number One Pond. 53 kids participated and many fish were caught.
In the Large Mouth Bass category, Logan Cormack, age 14, won the blue ribbon with a 16 ¼ inch fish. Olivia Lovejoy, age 3, won second place with her 16 inch fish, and Hannah Morgan, age 13, took third prize for her 15 ½ inch catch.
Nine year old Grace Grant took home first prize in the Pickerel category, with a whopping 24 incher. Braden Sanborn caught the second and third place winners at 22 ¾ inches and 21 1/8 inches respectively.
In the Yellow Perch category, Ryan Lovejoy, age 9 was the big winner with a 13 ¼ inch fish.
