Sanford Parks & Rec is planning a snow sculpture contest (in your own yard, big or small). This can be a team or individual effort, and adults are welcome! Rec staff will be out to take pictures of your sculptures for the judges to vote on. Please have the sculpture done by noon on Tuesday, February 16. Register at sanfordrec.com ($5/Resident and $10/Non Resident) and be sure to update your address in your account if it is not correct, as this is how they will find your sculptures. Just one member of the team needs to register. Prizes include gift cards to Walmart.

A new floor is being installed at the Nasson Community Center gym. Work began January 12 and is expected to take 6-8 weeks. Pickleball is on hold until the work is completed.

The Sanford Backpack Program will hold a free curbside food distribution, open to all, at Willard and Lafayette Schools on Thursday, January 21 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Produce will definitely be available, and possibly also breads, meats, dairy, cereals and other dry goods. Open to all.
