List of Candidates for Local Election

The filing period for local elected offices ended Sept 4. Here is the final list of candidates:

Mayor: (Vote for one): Incumbent Mayor Becky Brink will be challenged by Matthew Alan Dupuis for the two-year term.

City Council (Vote for two): Incumbent Councilors Ayn Hanselmann and Nathaniel Hitchcock are seeking reelection to three-year terms. Former Councilors Joseph Hanslip and Victor DiGregorio will also be on the ballot.

School Committee

• Three-year term (Vote for one): Lisa A. Blanchette and Emily A. Sheffield are vying for this seat. Incumbent Jennifer Davie is not seeking reelection.
• One-year to fill unexpired term (Vote for one): Jonathan D. Stimmell is running unopposed for the seat. (Incumbent Emily Sheffield filed for the three-year term.)

Water District Trustee (Vote for one): Incumbent Brian Samia will be challenged by Jonathan K. Hamilton for the three-year term.

Sewer District Trustee

• Three-year term (Vote for one): Incumbent Paul Demers is running unopposed.
• Two-year to fill unexpired term (Vote for one): Incumbent Kevin Eaton is running unopposed.
