News Notes: November 6

The Depot in Springvale is now selling non-ethanol gas at a few of its pumps.

The Trafton Center is offering Apple, Blueberry or Pumpkin Pies for  Thanksgiving, handmade in the Trafton kitchen. $15 each. Order by 11/18 for pick up between noon and 3 PM on 11/25. Call 457-0080 to order.

Despite remote learning capability, there may still be snow days this school year, because the state’s guidelines say it‘s not an official school day unless lunch is provided. Snow days will be made up in June. The district is looking at the option providing shelf-stable meals in advance, if it’s an especially snowy winter.

It was announced at the School Committee’s November 1 meeting that additional Free-For-All live streamed performances will be added to the schedule and announced next week. This week’s show will feature comedian Steve Caouette. It will stream live from the Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 7 at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, November 14, Susie Pepper & Mixology will bring us “A Night on Broadway.” You can watch all the past and future shows on WSSR-TV’s YouTube channel.
