Ellen and Jack McAdam had breakfast at the Sanford Regional Technical Center Cafe on Valentine’s Day. The students in the culinary program run the dining room and do the cooking as an integral part of their educational and training experience. The students did an excellent job, were very attentive, and breakfast was great. The McAdams’ are looking forward to going to lunch one day.
SRTC Cafe is open to the public for breakfast and lunch on most Wednesdays and Thursdays when school is in session, from February to early May. The largest tables seat up to four people, but larger groups will need to enter multiple reservations. You’ll be seated near each other, but tables cannot be combined. Reservations are required one week in advance for lunch and two days in advance for breakfast. Only cash or checks are currently accepted as payment.

Coming in from Main Street, park in the first parking lot you come to. The entrance door is between the horticulture classrooms and the cafe. There is a button to the left of the doors which you have to press so you can be buzzed in. Occasionally, there is someone there to open the door for customers.
Breakfast seatings at 8:30, 8:45 and 9:00 am. Lunch seatings at 11:15, 11:30 and 11:45 am. Breakfast is à la carte, lunch is $12.95.
