The Springvale Public Library will be resuming their pre-pandemic hours on September 1. They’re also looking for donations of gently used books for their Book Sale, which is scheduled for October 23-24. More info on the Book Sale will be coming soon.
Curtis Lake Church has free community meals-to-go (drive up) on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 p.m. New Beginnings Christian Church has community meals on Thursdays at 5:15 p.m.
The Maine Attraction Water Ski Show Team is having a fundraising raffle with a prize of $200 in scratch tickets and a $25 Amazon gift card. All the details are on their Facebook page.
Back Street Sanford has reopened their upstairs dining room. Upstairs dining hours are Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday 3:30pm to 9pm; and Saturday & Sunday 11:30am to 9pm.

Register now for fall sports programs from Sanford Parks & Rec. Tennis in the Parks is for kids in grades 1-8 and there’s an adults group too. Kiddie Kickers Soccer is for ages 3 1/2 to 5.
You can now request an absentee ballot online for the November 3 election. Ballots will be mailed by the City Clerk’s office when they are available. You can also call the Clerk’s office at 324-9125 to request your ballot. The City of Sanford is strongly encouraging absentee voting due to the pandemic.
