Sanford Mainers 2024 Internship Opportunities
The Sanford Mainers have several internship position openings for the 2024 season.
Positions include Director of Broadcast and Social Media, Business Office Intern, Statistician/Official Scorer, Game-Day Promotions and Entertainment Coordinator, Videographer, and Social Media Specialist.

The Sanford High School Field Hockey team lost to Gorham 7-1 in the Class A South quarterfinals on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Paige Sevigny scored the lone goal for Sanford, which finished with a 9-7-0 record.
The girls’ soccer team lost to Gorham in the final seconds of the Class A South quarterfinals on the same day.
The boys’ soccer team concluded its season with a 3-0 loss to Falmouth on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
Ryan Roy finished with eight saves for Sanford.
The football team suffered a 26-7 loss to Oxford Hills on Friday, Oct. 20. Jordan Bissonnette ran for a 30-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter for the Spartans.
On Saturday, Oct. 20, the girls’ volleyball team lost to Deering 3-0 in the Class A South quarterfinals.
Freshman Isaac Pelletier ran to a 26th-place finish in the 5-kilometer race at the Class A South Regional Cross-Country Championships in Cumberland on Saturday. Pelletier finished in 18 minutes, 6 seconds, and qualified for the state championship meet in Belfast.
