Civil air patrols will be flying in and out of Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport on June 10 in training exercises that simulate a lost person emergency.
Sanford Composite Squadron hosts the exercise, which brings together Civil Air Patrol members from across the state, as well as representatives from state and local emergency response organizations. Both land and air searches will be conducted in and around Sanford.
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of the Maine Wing and work with state and local emergency response organizations as our members train to help these agencies when needed,” said Maine Wing Director of Operations and Exercise Incident Commander Lt. Col. Roger Plant, CAP.
