Wednesday, July 13

Land Bank Authority, 8:45 a.m. via Zoom. The agenda includes a request for qualifications for residential redevelopment services, and an executive session to discuss enforcement matters regarding the International Woolen Company boiler house.

Fire Station Feasibility Working Group, 11:00 a.m. via Zoom. The agenda includes discussion of pubic outreach and engagement, and an executive session to discuss real estate matters.

York County Commissioners, 4:30 p.m. at 149 Jordan Springs Rd., Alfred and via Zoom. The agenda includes hiring report, discussion of dredge acquisition, review of RFP for an archivist with the Registry of Deeds, and other items.

Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., Goodall Library, 952 Main St. Trade in your old puzzles for something different! Puzzles should be from a smoke-free home, have no missing pieces, and an intact box. If you have pets, be sure there are no pet hairs in the boxes. It would be helpful to put pieces in a large ziploc bag.

La Famille LeBlanc, 7:30 p.m., Sanford-Springvale Historical Museum, 505 Main St. An exciting program of Franco-American music. $20.00 for ages 18 and older. Children are admitted at no charge. Art in the Park, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Gateway Park, 11 Riverside Ave. Original art on exhibit and for sale by local artists — painters, potters, photographers, and more. Croonie Tunes with Bob will provide live music from 10:00 to 2:00.

Corner Cupboard, 10:00 a.m. – noon, Sanford Unitarian Universalist Church, 5 Lebanon St. Non-food essential item pantry offering personal care products, paper goods, cleaning supplies, household items and baby needs. All are welcome.

Goodwin House Open for Tours, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., 503 Main St. This architectural gem in the heart of Springvale village has won statewide recognition for its preservation.

All-American Pops! with the Strafford Wind Symphony, 4:00 p.m., Sanford Performing Arts Center, 100 Alumni Blvd. The program includes patriotic selections and songs from popular musicals. Tickets are $10 – $14 and can be purchased here.
