Sanford’s Summer Food Service begins June 21. Summer meals are available to all children and teens 18 and under and registration is not required.  Please view the linked flyer here for all schools/local sites and times of availability.

The Chamber of Commerce’s annual Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Friday, August 12 at Province Lake Golf Club in Parsonsfield. If you would like to play or sponsor, call Rick at the Chamber at 207-324-4280. You can also register online at sanfordchamber.org.

The 2023 York County budget is now available at yorkcountymaine.gov. The York County Government’s ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) website has also been updated with the most recent minutes of the Strategic Planning and Readiness Center Committee here. York County officials are planning to use much of their federal ARPA funds to construct a new drug treatment facility with detox beds and residential housing, as well as a Strategic Planning and Readiness Center for emergency operations and training and development of public safety personnel.

Sanford Soccer is seeking coaches for a number of Local League and Classic Travel teams. They will hold a coaching interest meeting on Wednesday, June 22nd at 6:00 p.m. at Shaw Field. Please email sanfordsoccerpresident@gmail.com with any questions prior to the meeting.

There is still space available in all four weeks of basketball camp at Nasson Community Center. The camp is open to kids entering grades 3-8. The first week starts June 27. Email jdavie@nassoncommunitycenter.com to pre-register for a spot!
