Register your hoopsters in grades 3-8 now for Nasson Community Center’s Summer Basketball Camps. Four one-week sessions are being offered, from June 27-July 22. Bike Fest is less than a month away! Join Cycle Sanford and Sanford Parks & Recreation in a bike ride from the Sanford YMCA to the Sanford High School on Saturday, June 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a bike jam at the YMCA, bike rodeo provided by Pack 355, food at Gateway Park and antique bikes. The rain date will be Sunday, June 5.
Sanford Recreation’s Kiddie Kickers program is designed to introduce children age 4-5 to soccer the fun way! Coach Joel will teach kids the rules of the game, key words and the basics of the sport. They will participate in skill developing games throughout the session. Parents are encouraged to be present the entire time and actively participate with their child. The program will be held Wednesdays, June 22 and 29 and July 6 at 9:30 a.m. at the Carl J. Lamb field. Registration is $40 for Sanford residents.
The next session of the Starting New At Golf (SNAG) program, for kids age 6-8, will be held Wednesdays from June 22 through July 6 at 10:30 at the Carl J. Lamb field. The cost is $40 for Sanford residents.

Want to go see the Red Sox at Fenway Park, and not have to drive? Take the bus with Sanford Recreation! Two Saturday trips are planned: a game against the Toronto Blue Jays on July 23, and against the Tampa Bay Rays on August 27. Buses leave at 12:30 p.m. for the games, which start at 4:10.
