Having a hard time affording food and supplies for your pets? The Pittie Posse Pet Food Pantry at York County Shelter Programs can help. Twice a month, items including canned and dry food, kitty litter, treats, toys and more are available at the YCSP food pantry, 5 Swett’s Bridge Rd. in Alfred. The pet pantry is held on the first Tuesday and the third Friday of each month, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In 2021, the pet food pantry provided food and supplies to 945 pets (566 cats and 349 dogs), belonging to 325 families. Donations of these items, especially dry food and kitty litter, are always needed. If you have pet food or supplies to donate, email YCSP Food Pantry Coordinator Mike Ouellette at mikeo@ycspi.org.
The Carl J. Lamb PTA is seeking donations of food and other items for its concession stand at the Winterfest Fishing Derby next weekend. Visit this page if you can help.

The DPW is soliciting public comments on the Technical Manual and would appreciate your review and input. They would ideally like to close the Public comment period on March 25, 2022 (in six weeks). The DRAFT Technical Manual can be found here. Any comments or mark-up suggestions should be submitted to TechManualComments@sanfordmaine.org.
