Arrests & Summonses: November 14-20, 2021

On Sunday, November 14, Sanford Police officers responding to a disturbance on High St. took a 22-year-old Sanford resident into custody on charges of domestic violence assault and criminal trespass. A 43-year-old Sanford resident was arrested that night for aggravated assault and violating condition of release, after a call to Riverside Ave. Among the other calls that day were drug incidents on Main St., High St. and Dale St.

Monday, November 15, a motor vehicle stop at Pioneer Ave. and Weymouth St. resulted in the arrest of a 31-year-old Sanford resident for attaching false plates, operation of a defective vehicle, refusal to sign a summons, as well as an outstanding warrant. A report of breaking and entering on Spruce St. was among the other calls that day.

In the early hours of Tuesday, November 16, a 33-year-old Sanford resident was taken into custody on High St. for domestic violence assault. A disturbance on Mill St. in Springvale led to a 22-year old Sanford resident being summonsed for assault. There were five calls for juvenile runaways that day. One was transported to the hospital.

Wednesday, November 17, a motor vehicle accident on Main St. resulted in a 36-year-old resident of Northwood, NH, being summonsed on multiple charges, including operating under the influence (no test), operating without a license, endangering the welfare of a child, and assault. Sanford Fire and EMS also responded to the crash. Among other calls that day were reports of vandalism on Ledgewood St., and abuse or neglect on Lebanon St.

On Thursday, November 18, there were no arrests or summonses. Sanford officers were kept busy investigating a burglary in progress on High St., an assault on Spruce St. and a drug incident on Oak St. Another juvenile runaway and violation of protective order were among the other calls they responded to.

Friday, November 19, a shoplifting report on Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old Sanford resident for theft, violating conditions of release, and an outstanding warrant. Later that day, a 33-year-old Springvale resident was summonsed for shoplifting on Main St.

On Saturday, November 20, there were no arrests or summonses, Among the calls that day were a domestic disturbance on Charles St.; a report of harassment on Rankin St. in Springvale, which resulted in a warning; vandalism on Grove St.; and multiple animal complaints.
