Tis the season for all things spooky! Richie Lathrop of the Paranormal Five was Rick Stanley’s guest on Chamber Talk this week. Listen to it here: https://www.sanfordmainechamber.org/chamber-talk/paranormal-five.
Members of the Sanford-Springvale Rotary Club and the Sanford Kiwanis Club worked together on October 21 to build four new boardwalks over wet areas on the Hazen Carpenter Trail which circles Deering Pond in Sanford. Celebrate Community is a national initiative to encourage service clubs to work together on on community projects. The Carpenter Trail is a lovely trail with interpretive placards at various points describing trees, geological formations, and the history of the area. It is heavily used year-round by hikers, mountain bikers, cross country skiers, and snow shoe users. Volunteers pictured below are Heather Beaupre, Jo-Ann Cavanaugh, Mark Mickeriz, Bob Ferguson, and Andy Orazio.
