Out of twenty-four motor vehicle stops on Sunday, June 27, twenty-three resulted in written warnings, while one received a summons.
On Monday, June 28, there were four summonses issued for motor vehicle stops. A domestic disturbance call that evening led to the arrest of a 40-year-old Sanford resident on charges of domestic violence assault and domestic violence terrorizing.
Tuesday, June 29, Sanford officers served a summons to an address on June St. Five more were issued after motor vehicle stops on Cottage St. and elsewhere in the city.
On Wednesday, June 30, a call for a medical emergency on Main St. resulted in a 30-year-old Sanford resident being taken into custody on three outstanding warrants, plus additional charges of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, and violating conditions of release. Following a motor vehicle stop at Pearl St. and Shawmut Ave., a 44-year old Sanford resident was arrested for operating after habitual offender revocation, violating condition of release, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug, and operating an unregistered or never registered vehicle. That afternoon, a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Washington and Main Sts. led to a 16-year-old juvenile being summonsed for operating a vehicle without a license.
Thursday, July 1, eight motor vehicle stops resulted in summonses. A summons was also served to an address on Manor Cir. A domestic disturbance on Lebanon St. ended with the arrest of a 43-year-old Sanford resident for domestic violence assault. A domestic disturbance on Riverbank Ct. resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old Springvale resident on an outstanding warrant. Another disturbance call on Riverbank Ct. resulted in a 34-year-old resident of Manchester, NH, being taken into custody on a charge of criminal trespass.
There were five motor vehicle stops on Friday, July 2, that resulted in summonses. Three were on Lebanon St. and two were on Main St. in Springvale.
On Saturday, July 3, a motor vehicle stop at Cottage and June Sts. resulted in a summons issued. Another motor vehicle stop, on Twombley and Sugar Hill Rds., resulted in a summons to a 44-year-old Springvale resident for attaching false plates and operating with a suspended registration.
