Strategies for a Stronger Sanford is holding a fundraising event at the Sanford Performing Arts Center on Saturday, September 28 at 8 pm that Beatles fans will not want to miss. Tickets are available online www.sanfordpac.org. Pricing is $37.50 for premium seats and $30.50 for standard seats.
Studio Two is a Beatles cover band that pays tribute to the early Beatles years, choosing songs from the pre-Sgt. Pepper era. These four lads met in a “cellar full of noise” in a town west of Liverpool, in Milford, New Hampshire. By recreating the Fab Four’s music, instruments, and onstage banter, Studio Two performs those favorite hits that will bring people to their feet.
This event is being generously sponsored by Seacoast Oldies 104.3, Marc Motors, Sanford Sound, Kennebunk Savings Bank and Reverend Susan Murphy.
Strategies for Stronger Sanford is a non-profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to build a strong future for the city by engaging the community in effective strategies to support their children, youth and families. It partners with local programs to provide support and organizational structure. Currently it serves as the fiscal agent for several local organizations including: the Sanford Backpack Program; Police Cadets; Friends of Downtown; Sanford Community Youth Alliance; Stuff the Bus; Right Brain Club; Sanford Springvale News and the Southern Maine Clay Guild.
The work of these community organizations cannot be accomplished without many dedicated volunteers and financial supporters. The funds raised at this event will go to support Strategies for Stronger Sanford which in turn supports all of these wonderful programs. You can learn more about Strategies and the programs it partners with, including ways to donate directly, at www.strongersanford.org or on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/StrategiesforaStrongerSanford.
