Chamber News: October 2022

The Sanford Springvale Chamber Ambassadors have been busy recently! In the past few weeks they welcomed three new businesses as Chamber members.

Rob and Jess Libby are owners/operators of ONTarget Gunsmithing located at 481 Main Street Unit C7 in Springvale Square. ONTarget Gunsmithing is a firearms and ammo store and does sight work, cleaning, mounting, and more. They have firearms, custom built rifles, and handguns. If you don’t see what you’re looking for at the store they can track it down for you . They also have a great variety of ammo at fair prices. Hours of operation are Wednesday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Thursday 10:00 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 10:00 – 6:30pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Cruisin’ Infusions is Southern Maine’s newest full-service bar, catering, and wedding coordinating company. Their catering services provide a casual flair to your event with selections from their set menu or a menu customized specifically for your guests. The all-inclusive bar services provide a perfected mixology of style, staffing and customized cocktails and infusions for your private event. Their professional staff can create unique craft cocktails, highlight versions of classic cocktails, offer local brews and wines, all with a focus on attention to detail and professionalism. Cruisin’ Infusions has a back story, as the person they purchased this trailer from used it to fund mission trips to foreign countries to help build sustainable living situations as well as funding college. Cruisin’ Infusions will continue the “good work” this trailer was used for by donating a percentage of their profits to a local charity as a way to give back to their community. The Chamber also recently welcomed Romac Orchards of Acton as a new member.

In September, Chamber President Rick Stanley and Chamber Board Chair Rebecca Lapierre got to cut their own ceremonial ribbon with fellow Chamber members and guests by their side. The Chamber held an all-day Open House for the public on September 21 followed by a Business After Hours for members. The Chamber supports local business members and other businesses  and is a highly visible organization in the community. Chamber members volunteer for programs and activities that help benefit the membership and the community. The Chamber is also involved in workforce development and student educational support and scholarships.
