Saturday, July 16: Following the report of an assault on Main St. in Springvale, 15-year-old juvenile was summonsed for the crime. A 51-year-old Biddeford resident was arrested for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, following a shoplifting call on Cottage St. A 24-year-old Newfield resident was summonsed for multiple charges in connection with a report of breaking and entering on Lebanon St., including criminal trespass, criminal mischief and violating condition of release.
Sunday, July 17: A 50-year-old resident of Union, NH, was arrested for shoplifting on Main St. Two juveniles, aged 13 and 15, were summonsed for shoplifting in a separate Main St. incident.
Tuesday, July 19: A 57-year-old Limington resident and a 44-year-old Sanford resident were summonsed for shoplifting in separate incidents on Main St.
Wednesday, July 20: A domestic disturbance on Berwick Rd. led to a 36-year-old Biddeford resident being arrested for failure to appear on a civil violation summons. A 35-year-old Lebanon resident was taken into custody as a fugitive from justice on Main St.
Thursday, July 21: A motor vehicle stop on Pleasant St. in Springvale resulted in a 31-year-old Sanford resident being arrested for violation of probation, with additional charges of operating without a license and attaching false plates. Arrest(s) were made in a reported burglary of a motor vehicle on Douglas St., no details given.
Friday, July 22: A summons was issued for a reported assault on Roberts St., no details given.
Saturday, July 23: A disturbance on Main St. led to the issuance of a parking ticket. A motor vehicle stop on Main St. resulted in a 33-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed for operating after suspension.
Sunday, July 24: A report of vandalism on Palmer Ln. led to a summons being issued to a 47-year-old Sanford resident for leaving the scene of an accident.
Monday, July 25: Following a motor vehicle stop at Grammar Rd. and Dubois Dr., a 24-year-old resident of Manchester, NH, was summonsed for operating after suspension.
Tuesday, July 26: A 25-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for failure to provide necessary medical attention following an animal complaint to Theriault St. Officers responding to a domestic disturbance on Main St. took a 23-year-old Sanford resident into custody on a warrant.
Thursday, July 28: An animal complaint on Central Ave. led to summonses to two individuals on multiple charges. A 41-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for three counts of allowing a dog to be at large, three counts of keeping a dangerous dog, and owning or keeping an animal that kills or injures. A 37-year-old Sanford resident was also summonsed for owning or keeping an animal that kills or injures. (The victim was reportedly a cat who did not survive the incident.)
Friday, July 29: A 39-year-old Shapleigh resident was summonsed for shoplifting following a call to Main St. in Springvale. A report of a drug incident on Brook St. resulted in a 38-year-old Westbrook resident being taken into custody on a warrant. A 26-year-old Springvale resident was summonsed for attaching false plates following a motor vehicle complaint on School St.
Saturday, July 30: A report of vandalism on Roberts St. resulted in a 39-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed for criminal mischief. Officers responding to a disturbance on Church St. took a 28-year-old Sanford resident into custody for violating conditions of release, and summonsed a 27-year-old Sanford resident for operating a motor vehicle without a license. A 52-year-old resident of Leominster, MA, was arrested for operating after suspension following a motor vehicle accident on School St.
Sunday, July 31: Following a report of an assault on Main St., a 44-year-old resident of Newberry, FL, was arrested for that crime as well as violating condition of release. A domestic disturbance on Riverbank Ct. led to a 22-year-old Springvale resident being taken into custody for assault and domestic violence assault.
