Arrests & Summonses: June 1-14, 2022

Wednesday, June 1: A 28-year-old Sanford resident was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Breary Ave. The charges were failing to stop for an officer, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Thursday, June 2: A 37-year-old Sanford resident was taken into custody on High St., as a fugitive from justice with an outstanding warrant, while Sanford Police were assisting another agency.

Saturday, June 4: A 27-year-old Sanford resident was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault, following a call to Ruth St. A summons for theft was issued to a 37-year-old Sanford resident after a shoplifting call to Main St.

Sunday, June 5: Following a report of vandalism on Main St., a 27-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for two counts of criminal mischief.

Monday, June 6: A motor vehicle stop on Main St. led to a 44-year-old Waterboro resident being summonsed for operating after suspension. A 58-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for assault and violating condition of release following a disturbance on New Dam Rd.

Tuesday, June 7: A 34-year-old Springvale resident was summonsed for assault, after officers responded to a disturbance on Riverside Ave. An arrest was made following a motor vehicle accident on High St., no details given. Two other motor vehicle stops resulted in summonses issued.

Wednesday, June 8: An animal complaint on Mill St. in Springvale led to a 31-year-old resident being summonsed for allowing a dog to be at large and keeping an unlicensed dog.

Thursday, June 9: A 63-year-old resident of Somersworth, NH, was summonsed for operating under the influence (no test) with a prior, after a motor vehicle stop at Washington and River Sts. A number of other motor vehicle stops that day also resulted in charges, no details given.

Friday, June 10: A 34-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for negotiating a worthless instrument (that’s a bad check to you and me), following a call to Main St. A motor vehicle stop on Kimball St. resulted in a 57-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed for failure to register a vehicle more than 150 days.

Saturday, June 11: A 48-year-old Sanford resident was arrested on a warrant, following a disturbance on Old Mill Rd. Another disturbance, this time on Main St., led to a 44-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed for criminal trespass.

Sunday, June 12: A motor vehicle complaint on Main St. resulted in a 67-year-old Alfred resident being arrested for operating under the influence.

Monday, June 13: A 24-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for theft following a call to Railroad Ave. in Springvale. A report of vandalism on Pleasant St. in Springvale resulted in a summons to a 45-year-old resident. A motor vehicle stop on Main St. in Springvale led to a 27-year-old resident of Madison, NH, being summonsed for operating beyond conditions or restrictions. A number of other motor vehicle stops that day also resulted in summonses, no details given.

Tuesday, June 14: A 15-year-old juvenile was summonsed for criminal mischief and burglary of a motor vehicle following a report of vandalism on North Ave.
