Arrests & Summonses: October 17-23

On Sunday, October 17, Sanford officers responding to a disturbance at the corner of Dale and Emery Sts., took a 24-year-old Springvale resident into custody on a charge of violating condition of release. Two motor vehicle stops that day, one on Lebanon St. and one on Cottage St., resulted in summonses.

Monday, October 18, a 35-year old Sanford resident was summonsed for theft, following a shoplifting report on Main St.

The following day, a 48-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed on the same charge, following another shoplifting call to Main St. Sanford officers also responded to two reports of assault, and a report of a burglary in progress, among other calls that day.

On Wednesday, October 20, there were no arrests or summonses. Four motor vehicle accidents were among the calls that kept the Department busy that day.

Thursday, October 21, officers responding to a domestic disturbance on Milton Ave. arrested a 32-year-old Sanford resident for domestic violence assault.

On Friday, October 22, a 65-year-old Springvale resident was summonsed for assault following a call to Rankin St.

There were no arrests or summonses on Saturday, October 23. Among the calls that day were a domestic disturbance on Railroad Ave., a burglary in progress on Spruce St., and a report of harassment on New Hampshire St.
