SANFORD PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council will hold a public hearing and receive written and emailed comments at its Tuesday, April 5, 2022 meeting at 6:00 pm to amend Chapter 120: Fees, Chapter 149: Licensing, Chapter 161: Marijuana, and Chapter 280: Zoning Ordinance to allow retail sales of adult use marijuana.
The hearing will be held via remote video and teleconference pursuant to 1 MRSA §403-B(2)(D) and City Council Rules of Procedure. PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Sanford Planning Board will hold a public hearing and receive written and oral comments at its April 6, 2022 meeting starting at 6:30 pm on a Minor Subdivision for the SLAD Unit Subdivision to split a parcel at 4 Tebbetts Avenue, owned by Shawn and Lisa McDermott, and construct a duplex on the new parcel (tax map K32, lot 53).

The Designation of a Municipal Tax Increment Financing District Known as the “Upper Nasson Apartments Municipal Development and Tax Increment Financing District”
Notice is hereby given that the City of Sanford, Maine will hold a public hearing on April 5, 2022 at 6pm, via remote hearing described below, for the purpose of receiving public comments on the designation of Upper Nasson Apartments Municipal Development and Tax Increment Financing District and adoption of a development program for said District, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 206 of Title 30-A of the Maine Revised Statutes, as amended.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard at that time. The District consists of 25.64 acres, located on Summer Street in the Village of Springvale in Sanford, ME. This District authorizes the City Manager to enter into a credit enhancement agreement with the developer, as described in the proposed development program. A copy of the proposed development program for the District, including a description of a proposed credit enhancement agreement with the developer, will be on file with the City Clerk prior to the Public Hearing and will be posted online at sanfordgrowth.com/upper-nasson-apartments-dev-program/
