Every Saturday in September, any Veteran living in York County may go to the Sanford Farmers Market between 8:00 am and noon, and with proof of service and residency, receive $20.00 in market vouchers for making purchases at the Sanford Farmers Market. Look for the Red Vouchers for Veterans Tent. This program is not based on need! Funds to operate this program come entirely from York County businesses, Fraternal organizations, and residents as a small token of appreciation for serving our Country and protecting our freedoms. Capt. Jack’s Donut Shack at McDougal Orchards is opening for the season on Saturday, September 5. Hours will be weekends only from 9:00-5:00. If you get there at lunch time, the Gotta Be Frank gourmet food truck will be there as well.

Rolling Thunder has a Yard Sale coming up this weekend, in the parking lot next to Wears Bonnie at the corner of River and Winter Streets. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. All proceeds go to help local veterans.
