By Megan Boisvert, Communication Coordinator, City of Sanford
The City of Sanford is updating its Comprehensive Plan, a long-range planning document that provides policy direction for the next 20 years for Sanford Springvale. This plan guides City decisions about land use, development, and major investments such as parks, utilities, roads, sidewalks, and other community amenities.
The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee includes Sanford and Springvale residents, employees, and volunteers, and has been meeting regularly to develop the plan. They have completed the data and analysis phase and are now moving into the community engagement portion.
The city needs your input to help shape the future of our community. The Comprehensive Plan community input survey is available online using the link provided below. Paper copies will be available for those unable to take the survey online at the City Hall Planning Department, the Sanford and Springvale Libraries, and the Sanford Community Adult Education building. The feedback received from these surveys will help guide the future of Sanford Springvale for the next 20 years. Thank you for joining the city in creating a Blueprint for Our Future.
