On April 10, the Sanford Springvale News Editorial Board held an organizational meeting for the purpose of electing officers and a Board of Directors. The organization wanted to institute a more formal procedure for the existing editorial board to discuss and implement policies related to the newspaper. The following were elected:
Rev. Susan Murphy, President
Carolyn Cadigan, Vice-President
Michelle McCarthy, Secretary
Barbara Sutcliffe, Treasurer
Lisa Blanchette, Director
Zendelle Bouchard, Director
Gail Burnett, Director
Lee Burnett, Director
Connie Garber, Director
Jack McAdam, Director
Kendra Williams, Director
