Wednesday, December 29
- Boys First Team Basketball, 10:00 a.m. vs. Kennebunk at SHS Partners Bank Competition Gym
- Boys JV Basketball, 11:30 a.m. vs. Kennebunk at SHS
- Boys Varsity Basketball, 1:00 p.m. vs. Kennebunk at SHS
Thursday, December 30
- Girls JV Ice Hockey (Sanford/Biddeford/Thornton/Wells), 3:20 p.m. vs. Greely at Biddeford Ice Arena
The athletic department would like to remind everyone in attendance at Spartan athletic events that ongoing attendance at the games will be based upon compliance with the Covid-19 safety guidelines. The athletic staff does not want to have to continuously remind students and spectators to fully wear their masks. They ask that you comply so they are not forced to restrict attendance at games.
To reduce the risk of Covid-related issues that may affect our student athletes, spectators will not be permitted at the following upcoming events:
- Spartan Wrestling Annual Tournament – Saturday, January 8
- SMAA Cheering Competition on January 22
- Cheers from the Heart Cheering Competition on February 5th
The most important thing is that athletes be able to finish the regular and playoff season with full teams intact. Your understanding is appreciated. Please note, all home athletic events are streamed on WSSR-TV’s YouTube channel.
