Sanford Mainers Earn Close Wins Over Vermont Mountaineers

The Sanford Mainers notched two one-run wins over the Vermont Mountaineers last week.

On Saturday, July 22^nd, Eddie Eisert scored the winning run in the bottom of the 10^th to lift Sanford to a 4-3 win. Calvin Hewett, Matthew Polk, and Logan Poteet each had two hits.

Then on Wednesday, July 26^th, Devin Bade hit a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the ninth inning as Sanford walked off with a 3-2 win at Goodall Park. Nicholas Roselli scored the winning run.

As of July 27^th, the Sanford Mainers were in second place in the North Division of the NECBL with a 21-17 record.
