We’ve had an unusually warm run of late autumn days, but the nights are chilly and winter will be here in no time at all. When the first snow falls—and that could be as early as next week—it’s important to be prepared. If you need heating assistance, call York County Community Action at 459-2950 to apply for HEAP—the Home Energy Assistance Program. Your application can be taken by phone. You may also qualify for the Electricity Lifeline and Weatherization programs. YCCAC can help you apply.
