On Sunday, March 27, a summons was issued to a 23-year-old Sanford resident following a disturbance on Washington St. The charges were criminal mischief and violating condition of release. The same individual was summonsed later that day for false public alarm or report after a second disturbance on June St. A report of shoplifting was taken on Main St., and peace was restored following a domestic disturbance on Main St.
Monday, March 28, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at High and Wilson Sts. An animal complaint on Payne St. was investigated. A disturbance on Main St. was among the other calls that day.
On Tuesday, March 29, a summons was issued to a 28-year-old Berwick resident following a report of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on State St. A case of terrorizing/threatening on Boyd St. was investigated. Reports of vandalism on Prescott St. and harassment on Shaw St. were among the other calls to which officers responded.
Wednesday, March 30, calls included harassment on Bennett St.; harassment by phone on Main St. in Springvale; a domestic disturbance on Bougie Ln.; and larceny/forgery/fraud on Yvonne St.
On Thursday, March 31, a 36-year-old Sanford resident was taken into custody on a warrant following a disturbance on School St. A sex offense on Shaw’s Ridge Rd. was reported. Disturbances on Nason St., Roberts St. and Shaw St. were among the other calls that day.
Friday, April 1, a motor vehicle stop on Main St. in Springvale resulted in a 35-year-old South Portland resident being taken into custody on charges including operating after license suspension and violating conditions of release, as well as an outstanding warrant. An accident on Stanley Rd. led to a 25-year-old Shapleigh resident being arrested and charged with operating under the influence. A disturbance on Deering Neighborhood Rd. was investigated. Services were rendered following a drug incident at Linden Ave. and Front St.
On Saturday, April 2, a report of larceny on Main St. led to a 42-year-old resident of Sinsbury, CT, being summonsed for the theft. A 52-year-old Sanford resident was arrested for domestic violence terrorizing following a disturbance on Main St. There were two other domestic disturbances that day as well, on Mill St. in Springvale, and on River St. A juvenile runaway was reported on High St.
