It was cuteness overload at Waban’s Fraser Ford Child Development Center graduation this week!
7-year-old Harper Deardorff was shopping for school supplies to start her 3rd-grade year, when she asked her Mom if she could buy some extra school supplies to help other families. She filled two new backpacks with lunchboxes, pens, pencils, notebooks and all of the items a student will need to start off the year right. She and her Mom dropped them off with Mr. Matt at the Sanford-Springvale YMCA. Mr. Matt will find students to give them to, to help them start the school year off on the right foot! Harper already knows what it means to be part of a community and help others when you can.
