Mill Towne Tavern was closed over the weekend for deep cleaning, after a couple of recent patrons tested positive for Covid-19. They are suggesting that anyone who has been in recently be tested.
The Sanford/Springvale Basketball Association has announced the cancellation of the 2020-2021 season, citing uncertainty about the pandemic and the need to be fiscally responsible and sustainable. The Nasson Community Center, which runs SSBA, is a non profit which receives no city or state funds. They rely solely on donations, fundraising, grants and some revenue from sports and theatre, and have been hit very hard financially this year. The gym is still available for outside rentals following all CDC guidelines.
