The Sanford-Springvale YMCA‘s winter programs start this week! Check out the new program guide for all the details:

York County Shelter Programs‘ free meal program has moved to 81 Cottage Street, right next to Roger’s Supa Dolla. To go meals are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Goodall Memorial Library’s Youth Winter Reading Program kicked off on January 1 and runs through March 1. You can pick up your bingo card at the library, or download it from their website at

Pilot’s Cove Cafe now has online ordering. Visit to check out the menu.

Want to help our community when you shop? When you visit the Sanford Hannaford store this month and purchase a $2.50 reusable Community Bag, you are helping out the Sanford-Springvale YMCA. For every bag sold, Hannaford will send a $1 donation to the Y.

You can also make a difference for York County Community Action simply by shopping on Amazon through their AmazonSmile program. Some of Sanford’s valued long-term employees retired at the end of 2020.
